Rocket attack on Kyiv: there may still be people under the rubble - Deputy Head of KCSA

27 people, including 3 children, have been killed in Kyiv as a result of a massive Russian missile strike, and rescue operations continue as people may still be under the rubble.


There may still be people under the rubble in Kyiv after a massive Russian attack, said Mykola Povoroznyk, deputy head of the KCSA, on Radio Liberty, UNN reports .


Following the Russian strike on the capital, rescue and search operations continue at two locations - Okhmatdyt and a building in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

As of now, there is no such understanding (that there are no people under the rubble - ed.). We will be able to give an accurate answer to this question after we complete search and rescue operations at two sites

- Povoroznyk pointed out.


When asked if there might still be people under the rubble, he replied: "There could be, yes.


Addendum 

As a result of a massive Russian missile strike , the number of victims in Kyiv increased to 27, including three children.
