Writer: Open Media UkraineOpen Media Ukraine

Metinvest SMC supplied 17 tons of cold-rolled sheets and 98 tons of hot-rolled sheets produced at Azovstal for the production of the trams. The trams operating on route No. 33 in Kyiv (from Troeschyna to Darnytsia) were manufactured by the Tatra-Yug company (Ukraine) from steel produced at the Azovstal iron and steel works.

The Metinvest Group announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

"Steel is the basis for building transport. Metinvest SMC supplied 17 tons of cold-rolled sheets and 98 tons of hot-rolled sheets produced at the legendary Azovstal plant for the production of the trams. Now, part of Azovstal will always be with the new trams’ passengers," the statement said.
