The bad weather cut off power to 337 settlements in 7 regions. Blackout schedules are in place in Kharkiv, with restrictions for industry in Kryvyi Rih. This was reported by Censor.NET citing the press center of "Ukrenergo".
"Squally winds cut off power to 337 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv regions. Emergency repair works are underway," the statement said.
As of this morning, 388 settlements are without power for other reasons.
Due to hostilities: there are power outages in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv oblasts.
Due to technical damage: there are power outages in Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv regions.
According to "Ukrenergo", hourly blackout schedules are in effect in Kharkiv in the morning. About 115,000 consumers are currently without power.
Consumption restrictions for industrial consumers in Kryvyi Rih were extended.
The shelling of a satellite town of the Slaviansk thermal power plant injured three employees of the plant. The injured were taken to hospital.
One power unit at the thermal power plant was put into operation at night.
Weather conditions are favourable for the active operation of solar and wind power plants.
