Southern Ukraine Defense Forces officially denied information circulating on social media about the alleged encirclement of certain Ukrainian units by Russian troops in the Huliaipole direction, Zaporizhzhia region.

They reported this on their official page on November 21. TSN reports.

The command acknowledges that the situation in this sector is indeed difficult and tense, but stresses that it remains fully under control.

The statement highlights that even amid a challenging operational situation, Ukrainian troops stay in contact, logistics are established, and wounded personnel are being evacuated.

Units engaged in fighting in this sector are being reinforced by assault detachments.

The command stresses it fully controls the situation and is implementing all measures needed to strengthen the tactical position of Ukrainian forces.
