The Air Defence Forces shot down two Kalibr missiles during a daytime attack on Ukraine. This was reported by the Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Informs Mind.

It is noted that the missiles were likely launched from a russian submarine. They entered the airspace from a southeast direction and changed their course en route. Ultimately, both air targets were brought down over Vinnytsia Oblast.

The Command added that strategic Tu-95MS bombers remained in the air. The enemy aircraft are moving towards the launch area – the Caspian Sea.

As of 4:57 p.m., the Air Force reported the launch of cruise missiles from 12 aircraft of the aforementioned type. The Command also warned that around 5:40 p.m., air alerts would be announced in the southern and eastern areas due to the approach of targets.

The possibility of cruise missile launches from the Black Sea and ballistic launches from the territory of the russian federation and temporarily occupied territories are not ruled out.
